“Embracing the grandest challenges, we craft success on a monumental scale”

701 W Georgia Street

Since the very beginning, Sentinel Glass has been synonymous with undertaking the extraordinary – projects that many would deem too ambitious or challenging. This audacious spirit led us to be entrusted with a project of unparalleled scale by a major transnational corporation, a testament to the deep-seated confidence in our team’s extensive experience and expertise. Built by PCL, the largest and most reputable builder in Canada, this project demanded the utmost in every aspect: installing the largest glass panes ever seen in British Columbia, utilizing the biggest glass lifter in North America, and navigating one of the most densely populated urban environments. But we didn’t just meet these challenges – we exceeded them, setting new benchmarks in our field. This defining project, the Apple Flagship Store in Vancouver, showcases our capability to handle monumental tasks and marks a pivotal point in our journey. Each step in this project added to our knowledge repository, reinforcing our commitment to constantly elevate our standards, innovate, and lead in the custom glazing industry.

The façade showcases an impressive array of 32-foot-tall, floor-to-ceiling glass panels, each nine feet wide and including curved designs, constituting the largest insulated glass ever installed in British Columbia

Working within extremely tight spaces was a hallmark of this project, meticulously maneuvering glass with mere inches to spare, achieving precision with over 32-foot-tall glass panels and only a 1/2″ clearance

The project’s colossal glass size necessitated the use of North America’s largest glass lifter, a feat accomplished within the bustling, densely-packed heart of Vancouver
